What steps should women take for good health?
A woman’s healthcare needs are unique as she transitions through life. It's never too early or late to work toward being your healthiest you! During National Women's Health Week, (May 10-16) we want to help you take control of your health. Take the first step! Join Carrie Levine, CNM, from Whole Women Health on May 12, 10 a.m. at Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center, 521 Main Street in Damariscotta for a discussion about women's unique health needs and learn what you can do to lead a healthier life at any age. For more than 15 years, Levine has been working with women to identify personal health goals and then break those goals down into attainable steps. By supporting women in setting and achieving their own health goals, Levine helps her patients thrive emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Levine practiced gynecology at the world-renowned Women to Women Healthcare Clinic in Yarmouth from 2006 to 2014. Prior to that, she practiced full-scope midwifery at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.
The 16th annual National Women's Health Week kicks off on Mother's Day, May 10, and is celebrated until May 16, 2015.
