Wiscasset Police Department reported the following for Jan. 1-15.
Arrests/Summonses
Jan. 2, Gerald S. Anderson, 60, of Bremen was summonsed for Failing to Notify of Motor Vehicle Accident, by Sgt. Perry Hatch.
Jan. 3, Joshua V. Miller, 29, of Alna was summonsed for Violating Conditions of Release, by Officer Jonathan Barnes.
Jan. 5, Ursula M. Schumann, 56, of Wiscasset was summonsed for Driving to Endanger, by Chief Lawrence Hesseltine.
Jan. 9, Christopher Poore, 42, of Dresden was summonsed for Assault, by Hesseltine.
Jan. 10, Katie Christina Mermelstein, 40, of Wiscasset was arrested for a Warrant Arrest, by Officer Nathan Willhoite.
Jan. 12, Richard Mank, 70, of Wiscasset was summonsed for Assault, by Officer Hunter Farrell.
Jan. 14, Nikolaos Kazakos, 51, of Boothbay was summonsed for Operation After License Suspension, by Willhoite.
Accidents
Jan. 9, Hatch responded to an accident on Main Street. Veronica Babcock, 47, of Gardiner was traveling southbound stopped at the stop light. Adam Cooper, 37, of Damariscotta was traveling southbound and struck the rear of Babcock’s vehicle. No injuries were reported.
Jan. 10, Barnes responded to an accident on Gardiner Road. Todd Lindstrom, 56, of Pittston was traveling southbound making a left hand turn. Naomi Day, 23, of Chelsea was southbound stopped in traffic. Brianna Pye, 26, of Phippsburg was traveling southbound, failed to see the stopped vehicles and struck Day’s vehicle, causing Day’s vehicle to strike Lindstrom’s. No injuries were reported.
Jan. 12, Hesseltine responded to an accident on Gardiner Road. Stewart Hall, 60, of Sidney was traveling southbound when a deer ran into the roadway. No injuries were reported.
Jan. 13, Hesseltine responded to an accident on Bath Road. Zhejian Cong, 26, of New York, New York was traveling eastbound. Lester Perry, 67, of Westport Island was traveling westbound, turning left, and failed to yield the right of way. No injuries were reported.
