CHANS receives four stars in patient care
CHANS Home Health & Hospice recently received a 4-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The rating is based on data collected in a nationally standardized survey that asks patients about their recent experiences with CHANS. CHANS 4-star rating is published on Home Health Compare, an online comparison tool that allows consumers to make more informed decisions when choosing a home health provider.

Consumers are able to view and compare patient star ratings on the following five topics: Care of Patients, Communication Between Providers and Patients, Specific Care Issues, Overall Rating of Care Provided by the Home Health Agency, and Survey Summary. CHANS performed better than other agencies in the measured care practices and outcomes, warranting the 4-star rating.
