The Central Lincoln County YMCA invites youth, ages 6-12, to participate in a fun week learning to be artistic while repurposing and recycling.

Join Deb Schaeffer of InSpIRe Mixed Media Art in a creative class making various projects including: using art prints from found paper and objects that make pattern, then use these papers to create a summer journal from a discarded book and canvas art; make a nature birdhouse; and paint rocks to leave around the community that, when found, are sure to bring a moment of joy to the finder.

The class will be held July 23-27 from 9am-noon, minimum of 8 kids, max 10 to run program. Cost is $50 for Y members and $75 for nonmembers. Payment plans and scholarships are available and should be set up in advance. The application deadline for scholarships is June 13.
