Eighmey was born in Waterloo, Iowa in 1965 and loved art at a very young age, four. Her work is influenced by sports and the Maine coast. She enjoys painting people, places in Maine and New England Patriots football team.
She grew up in different places and after leaving the military from Germany, she stayed in Maine from 1990 to 2007. She lived in Brunswick five years and Scarborough four years. She therefore has a passion for traveling and loves animals. Christina has a rescue by the name of Lucky and four rescue turtles that enjoy the sun in Florida where she resides in winter. She has summered on Southport Island since 2010.
Christina loves being in her home, paints on her studio and takes breathtaking photos of water. Paintings in this show include “Newagen Winter,” “Two degrees Love Cove,” “Morning at Decker Cove,” “Old Orchard Beach” - and featured New England Patriots players staring Tom Brady. Christina has been a member of Boothbay Region Art Foundation since 2010.
