River Arts in Damariscotta is inviting artists to submit up to three works for jurying in the upcoming “Figures, Photos & Forms” show. This show will feature the figure in all mediums with a special encouragement for photographers and sculptors to apply.

All mediums including painting, drawing, print making, fiber arts photography and sculpture will be accepted for jurying. This show is open to the artists’ interpretations of the figure including abstraction and realistic renderings.

Entry fee covers up to three entries: $15 for members / $25 for non-members. Works must be dropped off at River Arts for jurying no later than Saturday, March 2 at 4 pm. Works must be suitably wired for hanging and clearly labeled with artist’s name, phone number and title on the back.

Charlotte Davenhill of Tidemark Gallery in Waldoboro will jury this exhibition. Artists will be notified by email or phone of the juror’s decision.

The opening reception for “Figures, Photos & Forms” is scheduled for Friday, March 8 from 5-7 p.m. The show will run until April 6.
