Hot Chocolate Jubilee, Ivory & Gold and Paul Draper in April
The Chocolate Church Arts Center is proud to present excellent entertainment for the whole family this spring. Spring at the CCAC truly features something for everyone; a local annual favorite variety show, a concert featuring the music of the Great American Songbook, Flicks and Floats returns and a master of the mystical arts all grace the main stage of the Chocolate Church Arts Center at 804 Washington St., Bath.

The “Hot Chocolate Jubilee” fundraiser was started by locals to support the Chocolate Church Arts Center back in 1977. In 2019 the entertainment starts off with our annual fun for the whole family spring fundraiser the “Hot Chocolate Jubilee.” This year’s show theme is “As Time Goes By.”
It features participants from all over the Bath-Brunswick area. Where else can you see politicians and government officials bop each other on the head with a tambourine? Returning Jubilee favorites this year include the Front Street Boys and Tambo Line. Shows are at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4 through Saturday, April 6; and at 2 pm. Sunday, April 7. Tickets, $15/advance; $18/door.
On Saturday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m. Ivory and Gold return to CCAC with an evening of music from the Great American Songbook. Ivory and Gold features Jeff Barnhart on the piano and Anne Barnhart on flute and vocals. The show will feature a celebration of the greatest Broadway, ragtime, American jazz and the blues hits. Tickets are $18/advance, $21 /door; kids $12.
On Sunday, April 14 at 2 p.m. our Flicks and Floats special afternoon of silent movies with music and Ice Cream Floats returns. This event features Jeff Barnhart (of Ivory and Gold) accompanying silent movies with music and stories. This event is a big hit with kids of all ages. Tickets: $15/advance $18/door, and $10/kids.
The CCAC Easter/Spring Break week features one of the most exciting recent offerings at the Chocolate Church Arts Center: internationally Award Winning Master mentalist and magician Paul Draper brings his one-man hit show, “Mysteries of the Mind” Thursday, April 16 at 7:30 p.m.
Draper has traveled the world as an anthropologist in search of magic and mysteries to bring you this internationally acclaimed show that combines magic, music, and mentalism to create a unique experience for every new audience.He has been featured on HBO, A&E and the History Channel - among others - for his extensive knowledge on all things mystical. Tickets are $23/advance, $25/door and $15 students.
