CTL celebrates Year of the Rat

Musicians and dancers in the third and fourth grade at the Center for Teaching and Learning in Edgecomb participated in a favorite Lunar New Year tradition: the Dragon Dance. CTL’s art teacher, Mary Beth Owens, constructed the dragon and prepared the group for this annual celebration. At lunch students enjoyed a delicious buffet of all sorts of Chinese treats: dumplings, noodles, char siu chicken and pork, fortune cookies, and more. It was a fun and delicious way to kick off the Year of the Rat.
