The Pemaquid Group of Artists announces a call for artists to exhibit this season at the Pemaquid Art Gallery at Lighthouse Park, Bristol. The gallery is celebrating its 92nd season in operation this year. The residency requirement has been expanded to include all of Lincoln County, Maine. The gallery, open from late May until Columbus Day, is located at Lighthouse Park at Pemaquid Point, which is a popular attraction for thousands of visitors in the summer in Maine.

Recent work of interested artists will be juried on Saturday, April 4. Each candidate must submit three framed original works of art, a short resume and complete a short application available for download at pemaquidartgallery.com under “2020 Call for Artists.” All art must be framed and ready for hanging. The gallery is not a cooperative and members are not required to staff the gallery.

The Pemaquid Art Gallery will open on weekends starting with Memorial Day Weekend and then for the season on Friday, June 5. The Grand Opening Reception, open to the public, will be held on Sunday, June 7 from 5:30 - 7 p.m. at the art gallery at Lighthouse Park in Bristol.
