Lincoln County Republicans social July 18
The Lincoln County Republican Committee (LCRC) is hosting a delayed Fourth of July celebration on July 18 at its headquarters located at 241 Route 1, Damariscotta, Maine. This event will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. All Republicans and those interested in a conservative point of view are welcome to participate.
At this event there will be some flag waving, an activity that we have come to love, and for which we receive much positive feedback from the folks driving by.
For the fundraiser at this event we will be serving strawberry shortcake. It will be made with fresh picked strawberries, homemade biscuits and real whipped cream. There will be vanilla ice cream for those who prefer that.
The final part of this event will be our own member, Pam Mancuso, sharing her lovely voice for a singalong. Pam comes from Boothbay to be with us and has been singing joyfully since she was a teenager. She is planning an inspiring array of traditional patriotic songs, hymns and familiar camp songs. Families with children are especially welcome to come and participate in singing songs that celebrate the history of our nation.
We have plenty of room and anticipate enough space for people to keep as much distance between each other for all to feel comfortable. Please respect the needs of our older members and medically compromised members who may need more personal space during this pandemic.
Lastly, we encourage all to become involved in the election process and volunteer toward the effort to get our candidates elected. Candidates from Lincoln County and beyond are welcome to come and spread their messages.
