Wiscasset School Committee on June 15 recognized new retirees Carolyn Orne, Jeffrey Speed, Nancy Wyman, Cheryl Campbell, Pam Freeman and Ralph Keyes. Superintendent of Schools Terry Wood said some honorees attended virtually, others in-person.

Wood said new hires announced were fourth grade teacher Kaden Pendeleton, District IEP Coordinator Gina Stevens, Wiscasset Middle High School career and technical education and science, technology, engineering and math teacher Stephan Puff, Administrative Assistant Janelle Skillin, high school math teacher Jenelle Lefebvre and kindergarten teacher Katie Smith.

Middle school ELA teacher Kirstin Perry and educational technician III Melinda Turner have resigned, Wood said.
