Estella F. Pinkham
Estella F. Pinkham passed away peacefully at Maine Medical Center Aug. 7, 2021 after battling a long illness.
She was born Sept. 18, 1932 to Willard and Blanch Andrews. She married her husband of almost 66 years, Frederick Pinkham on Aug. 17, 1955 and had two children together.
She worked various jobs in her life, including Boothbay Region Fish & Cold Storage and Rocktide Inn for over 20 years. She also was a personal caretaker for several people.
She enjoyed working in her gardens, going to V.F.W. dances, bird watching, cooking, shopping and going to lawn sales with her daughter. “Sookie” as she was known by many, had a quality to always find the good in everything.
She was predeceased by her mother, father, husband, daughter Anita Hodgdon, brothers Russell, Fred, Edward, Philip and sisters Elaine and Ida.
She is survived by son Michael and his wife Cathy, grandchildren Brandon, Nicholas and Katie, and great-granddaughter Makayla. She also leaves behind many other friends and relatives, including nieces, nephews and son-in-law James Hodgdon.
