This week at Harbor Theater
Welcome back to Harbor Theater. We are now open five days a week, Wednesday through Sunday. The theater is closed Monday and Tuesday. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for members and children under 12. Tickets will be sold at the concession stand; masks must be worn at all times, except when actively eating or drinking. Please present your proof of vaccination at the ticket counter. “No Time To Die” - Final two screenings! - (PG-13, 2 hours 43 minutes) - Daniel Craig’s last film as MI16 Agent - 007. Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected. Playing at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 and Thursday, Oct. 21.
“Dune” – (Rated PG-13, run time 2 hours 35 minutes) - One of the most-anticipated films of 2021. Based on Frank Herbert’s 1965 novel, sometimes cited as the world’s best-selling science fiction work, starring Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin. Directed by Denis Villeneuve. Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, must travel to Arrakis, the most dangerous and desert-like planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people. As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet's exclusive supply of Melange, a spice that extends life and expands mental abilities, it becomes clear that only those who can conquer their own fear will survive. “North by Northwest” - (Rated PG-13, run time 2 hours 16 minutes) - Roger O Thornhill (Cary Grant) is a harmless and amiable advertising executive who is absurdly mistaken for a government agent by a gang of ruthless spies. Forced to go out on the lam, Thornhill lurches from one perilous scenario to another. Can he survive to prove his innocence? Is the gorgeous blonde (Eva Marie Saint) who is helping him really a friend? This is pure Alfred Hitchcock: a fusion of thrills, mystery, and some cheeky humor, along with those never-to-be forgotten scenes: A crop dusting airplane, a pursuit on Mount Rushmore and a drunk car on a cliff sequence. This year’s Classic Film Series, Hitchcock’s Best, will be shown on the first Thursday of every month at 2 p.m, Following “North By Northwest”: “Rear Window,” “Strangers on a Train,” “To Catch a Thief” and “Vertigo.” Regular ticket prices, no special discounts.
