Haunted history tours return with new guides
Allison Jornlin and brother Michael Huberty of American Ghost Walks are preparing for a first season in Maine after buying Red Cloak History Tours last month.
Jornlin and husband Scott traveled from Milwaukee to the three locations being readied for the 2022 season: Bar Harbor, Camden and Boothbay Harbor. She spent a week meeting the company’s new guides, and a few who worked for Red Cloak, walking the routes and reading the scripts.
They also visited places in the towns to ask, “Is this place haunted?” and received some interesting responses. Curious? Take the tours!
American Ghost Walks, like the former Red Cloak, weave the physical and metaphysical histories of the towns toured. The people and the communities they lived in; how they lived and what happened there throughout the centuries, are discovered with and without haunted tales; and every community, every town, city and state has them.
In Boothbay Harbor, Rebekah Rogers, Mary Reid, Annie Farnsworth, Amy Bednarek, Mercedes Faucher-Eldert, Rose Hart McDonnell and Julee Ketelhut will lead the haunted history tours.
Start dates of tours in these three towns will soon be announced at https://redcloaktours.com
