‘Blue & Yellow: Persist’ ends with raffle drawing Oct. 2
The last few days of the group exhibition “Blue & Yellow: Persist” are rapidly approaching. The exhibition is intended as a gesture of solidarity with Ukraine, its artists, and culture.
There is still time to be part of the fundraising raffle for an original watercolor painting by Smith, before the drawing of the winning ticket on Sunday, Oct. 2 at 4:30 p.m. Raffle tickets are $15 for one or $35 for three tickets.
All moneys raised through ticket sales will be divided between two humanitarian organizations which are involved in helping Ukrainian refugees: Ukrainian National Women’s League of America (www.unwla.org) and Women for Women International (www.womenforwomen.org).
Special talks and programming culminated with three singers - soprano Anna Dembska, and our own multi-faceted performer Andrea Goodman with her bandura - who performed together on Aug. 20 producing a memorable event for all who were able to attend.
Mathias Fine Art is at 10 Mathias Drive in Trevett. Gallery hours are Wednesday – Sunday noon to 5 p.m. and by appointment.
