This week at the Lincoln Theater
The newest release from director Olivia Wilde, “Don’t Worry Darling,” is an entertaining psychological thriller, with plenty of drama, and will satisfy the mystery lovers as well. While critics found the plot to be messy, in contrast audiences were captivated and on the edge of their seats. And both critics and audiences agree on star Florence Pugh’s incredible and chilling performance as the seemingly happy housewife, Alice.

“Don’t Worry Darling” - (R; 2 hours, 2 minutes) - Alice and Jack are lucky to be living in the idealized community of Victory, the experimental company town housing the men who work for the top-secret Victory Project and their families. While the husbands spend every day inside the Victory Project Headquarters, their wives get to spend their time enjoying the beauty, luxury, and debauchery of their community. Life is perfect, with every resident’s needs met by the company. All they ask in return is discretion and unquestioning commitment to the Victory cause. But when cracks in her idyllic life begin to appear, Alice can’t help questioning exactly what they’re doing in Victory, and why.
