This has been an incredible adventure. I had no idea of what a candidate goes through. There are so many facets to a campaign along with its many emotional ups and downs.

Throughout this ordeal there were those who shared this adventure with me. I cannot say enough about my wife, Arlene, who was with me at every meeting, event, forum, stand out and all the days knocking on doors. Without her this would never have happened.

There was Chet Grover, my champion, who was always there as a sounding board with honest and frank discussions. His wife Michelle Grover served as my treasurer. We went through a learning process together getting familiar with all the financial reporting requirements.

So many others made this possible. The nudge from individuals at the very beginning to run. Those who signed the nomination papers, contributed seed money to the campaign, contributed $5 to the Clean Election Fund, created the float for and marched in the 4th of July parade, put up lawn signs everywhere, knocked on doors, and participated in the stand outs waiving to the drivers as they went by. Those who provided advice and words of encouragement throughout the campaign. There were many things completely out of your control. People who wrote letters to the editor, created mailers and sent out texts in support without my knowledge.

I am asked how did I do this? I did not do this alone, all of you did. I thank all of you who supported me, 2054 voters made this happen.

One adventure ends and another begins with many unknowns ahead. Thankful for the opportunity to serve. A privilege and honor to represent you. Thank you all.
