All cookbooks are on sale at half-price through Tuesday, Jan. 3,  at the Skidompha Secondhand Book Shop in downtown Damariscotta.

The shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day during the holidays except for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Located at 17 Backstreet Landing, the shop is a major fundraiser for Skidompha Public Library, offering  hard cover and paperback books in dozens of categories; music on CDs and records; movies on DVD and videotape; audiobooks; puzzles; and gift certificates. All items are donated, all staff members are volunteers, and all proceeds support the programs and collections of Skidompha Public Library.

Donors are invited to leave books and other items whenever the shop is open.
