2023 Maine Pottery Tour
The weekend of May 6 and 7 is Maine Pottery Tour weekend in Maine. This year’s Tour marks the 11th year with 65 participating clay studios!
The Maine Pottery Tour is a self-guided driving tour of pottery and ceramics studios around the state. Meet the artists, peek in the kilns, watch demos ... see the spaces where the magic happens! Here in the Midcoast Maine, there are 17 studios to visit.

The Maine Pottery Tour is funded in part by the Maine Arts Commission, an independent state agency supported by the National Endowment for the Arts dozens of Maine clay studios will be opening their doors to the public to tour, peek in the kilns, meet the artists, see demonstrations, and shop for pottery.

On Saturday, May 6 galleries will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (unless otherwise noted in the gallery writeups) and Sunday, May 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.. This is a great way to spend the weekend and see what it takes to make pots for a living.
