Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 9 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 158 calls for service for the period of Dec. 27 to Jan. 2. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 11,063 calls for service.
Summons
Mykel B. Rogers, 22, of Union was issued a summons Dec. 29 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked, on Atlantic Hwy, Waldoboro, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Arrests
Leo W. Barter Jr., 52, of Boothbay was arrested Dec. 27 for Violation of a Protection Order, on Elm Street, Damariscotta, by Deputy Mark Fortin, who was assisted by Deputy Ethan Burns.
Ramon Edgardo Vega Parson, 41, of Gulfport, Florida was arrested Dec. 28 for Violation of a Protection Order, on Park Street, Boothbay Harbor, by Detective Matthew Ryan.
Josiah W. James, 25, of Wiscasset was arrested Dec. 29 for Operating under the Influence (Drugs or Combo), on Route 1, Newcastle, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Theodore Cocco, 58, of Waldoboro was arrested Dec. 29 for Violating Condition of Release; Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked and a Lincoln County warrant for Failure to Appear, on Atlantic Hwy, Waldoboro, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Brian P. McNamara, 23, of Wayne was arrested Dec. 30 for Operating under the Influence, on Townsend Avenue, Boothbay Harbor, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Jonathan Hackett, 64, of Dresden was arrested Dec. 31 on a Sagadahoc County warrant for Failure to Appear on charges of Operating after Suspension, at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Wiscasset, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Kristopher Brill, 46, of Farmingdale was arrested Dec. 31 for Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief (Domestic Violence), on South Mountain Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Kyle A. Taylor, 40, of Wiscasset was arrested Dec. 31 for Criminal Mischief, on Northern Drive, Boothbay, by Deputy Nathan Yeaton, who was assisted by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Andrew J. Longe, 32, of South Bristol was arrested Jan. 1 for Operating under the Influence, on Main Street, Newcastle, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Accidents
On Dec. 27, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving Allen N. Hutchinson, 68, of Bath. Mr. Hutchinson was operating his 2011 Chevrolet Impala eastbound when he lost control of his vehicle, went off the roadway on the right and down an embankment, before coming to final rest. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 28, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Edgecomb involving Robin M. MacCready, 64, of South Bristol and Mickie A. Chadwick, 63, of South Bristol. Ms. MacCready was operating her 2009 Volvo XC90 northbound and began to go into the turning lane to go onto Route 27. Ms. MacCready realized she was in the wrong lane and turned back into the travel lane of Route 1 and struck Chadwick’s 2023 Volvo XC6, who was traveling northbound, with the side of her vehicle. Deputy Samuel Alexander was the investigating officer.
