‘Wizard of Oz’ inspiration for Bay Chamber Concerts
Bay Chamber Concerts in Rockport, in partnership with the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, is thrilled to announce the second in a series of four 'Music at Noon' concerts on Wednesday, Feb. 12. The program features Musical Theater Students from the University of Southern Maine School of Music, under Director Ed Reichert, in the museum’s Library.
This inspiring concert will feature selections from “The Wizard of Oz,” “The Wiz,” and “Wicked,” as well as songs from USM School of Music’s upcoming production of Charles Dickens' “The Mystery of Edwin Drood.”
Music and art lovers are invited to attend this intimate lunchtime concert where they can enjoy a simple, tasty lunch from Atlantic Baking Co. while listening to a magical and lively “Wizard of Oz” inspired concert by vocalists Carolyn Glaude, Eileen Hanley, Danielle Lane and Matthew West.
This is Bay Chamber Concerts’ second year of presenting this unique lunchtime concert series, where admission to the museum, following the concert, is included in the ticket price. Tickets are $25 (ticket fees may apply).

The School of Music at USM provides its students with a faculty of distinguished performers, teachers, scholars, and mentors.
