The DaPonte String Quartet will be delighting classical music fans in mid May with Winter Series IV: Vienna, Vienna.
The DaPonte String Quartet Winter Series IV: Vienna, Vienna will be presented at four venues in May. The program includes Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's String Quartet in G Major, K. 287, Felix Mendelssohn's String Quartet in A Minor, Op. 13 and the String Quartet in Eb Major, Op. 74 "The Harp" by Ludwig van Beethoven.
Performance dates and locations: Thursday, May 15 at 7:30 p.m. in Thomaston at St. John's Episcopal Church; Friday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Theater in Damariscotta; at the Rines Auditorium at the Portland Public Library, Saturday, May 17 at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, May 18 at the Mid-Coast Presbyterian Church in Topsham at 3 p.m.
