“Black Mass” tells the story of Irish mobster James "Whitey" Bulger (Johnny Depp). In 1970s South Boston, FBI Agent John Connolly (Joel Edgerton) persuades Bulger to collaborate with the FBI and eliminate a common enemy: the Italian mob. “Black Mass” relays the story of this unholy alliance, which spiraled out of control, allowing Whitey to evade law enforcement, consolidate power, and become one of the most ruthless and powerful gangsters in Boston history.
Reviewing for Slate, Dana Stevens writes “Depp's performance as Bulger is as strong, and as energized, as anything he's done on screen for years.”
“Black Mass,” rated R, plays Wednesday, Oct.14 and Thursday, Oct.15 at 7 p.m.
Inspired by a true story, "Learning To Drive" stars Academy Award nominee Patricia Clarkson and Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley, in a feel-good comedy about an improbable friendship.

The film premiered at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival and was voted first-runner up for the People's Choice Award.
