The Damariscotta police report the following activity from to Jan. 4 to Jan. 10:
Jan. 4
Chief Young conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street.
Officer Halpin took a police information report on Church Street; conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street; and warned Joan Cameron of Alna for speeding on Elm Street.
Chief Young took a report of trespassing on Meadow Court and took a found property report at the police department.
Sgt. Warlick investigated a report of a disabled motor vehicle on Elm Street; investigated an alarm on Abbie Lane; and warned Karmen Levy of Litchfield for a defect on Biscay Road.
Jan. 5
Officer Halpin conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street.
Chief Young took a report of criminal mischief on Moonlight Drive.
Chief Young and Officer Halpin investigated an alarm on Hodgdon Street.
Officer Halpin assisted a citizen at the police department.
Chief Young assisted a citizen at the police department.
Officer Halpin conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street.
Officer Sylvester conducted an OUI detail; warned Owen Gilbert of Waldoboro for a defect on Route 1; summonsed Andrea Donlin of Warren for an expired license and warned for a defect on Route 1; summonsed Brenda Wallace of Damariscotta for insurance and warned for speeding on Main Street; and warned Megan Boyington of Bristol for speeding on Biscay Road.
Sgt. Warlick assisted in locating a report of smoke on Biscay Road.
Jan. 6
Chief Young conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street; assisted a citizen at the police department; investigated a report of a traffic hazard on Pleasant Street; and conducted a compliance check in at the police department.
Officer Seekins warned John Brackett of Bristol for inspection on Main Street; summonsed Mark Mainella of Nobleboro for insurance on Center Street; warned Amber Scott of Waldoboro for inspection on Route 1; investigated a report of theft on Church Street; and warned Joshua Campbell of Jefferson for inspection on Main Street.
Officer Seekins conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street; warned Timothy Derosier of Damariscotta for no front plate on Main Street; warned Gail Degrasse of West Rockport for inspection on Main Street; and investigated a report of threatening on Main Street.
Tina McCabe of Jay was warned for no trailer lights and summonsed for insurance on Church Street by Officer Dotson.
Jan. 7
Officer Dotson investigated an alarm on Bristol Road; warned Frank Elwell of Waldoboro for speeding on Bristol Road; and warned Angela Burns of Round Pond for speeding on Main Street.
Chief Young assisted with a disabled motor vehicle on Egypt Road; investigated a late report of a motor vehicle accident on Main Street; and assisted a citizen on School Street.
Officer Sylvester assisted with a disabled motor vehicle on Biscay Road and investigated suspicious activity on Main Street.
Jan. 8
Officer Sylvester and Officer Dotson assisted with an out of control person on Miles Street.
Sgt. Warlick warned Elan Bills of Tuscon, Arizona for speeding on Bristol Road; investigated an alarm on Main Street; responded to a motor vehicle accident on Main Street; assisted citizens at the police department; conducted a compliance check in at the police department; took a police information report at the police department; and assisted with an out of control person on Miles Street.
Sgt. Warlick and Officer Sylvester responded to a motor vehicle accident on Biscay Road.
Jan. 9
Officer Graham conducted a special detail on Miles Street; conducted a compliance check in at the police department; investigated a report of theft on Jackie’s Trail; investigated an accident on Main Street and responded to a car vs. pole accident on Standpipe Road. Alissa Sprague of Waldoboro was driving a 2010 Lincoln MKZ.
Michelle Vaudreuil of Windsor Locks, Connecticut was warned for a defect on Biscay Road by Officer Sylvester.
Officer Sylvester responded to a report of a domestic issue on Main Street.
Jan. 10
Officer Seekins conducted a compliance check in at the police department; took a report of erratic operations on Lessner Road; and took a report of a traffic hazard on Belvedere Road.
Officer Sylvester investigated an alarm on Coastal Market Drive and investigated an alarm on Main Street.
Chief Young and Officer Sylvester investigated an alarm on Bristol Road.
Chief Young took a report of a possible transformer fire on Route 1.
