Damariscotta Police Department: Three thefts
The Damariscotta Police report the following activity from March 14 to March 20:
March 14
Officer Halpin assisted a citizen on Biscay Road; took a report of lost property on Church Street; and is investigating a report of criminal mischief on Biscay Road.
Sgt. Warlick is investigating a report of harassment on Jackie’s Trail and warned Stephen Wood of Boothbay for excessive noise and summonsed for inspection on Biscay Road.
March 15
Officer Halpin investigated an alarm on Jackie’s Trail and assisted with a traffic hazard on Water Street.
Sgt. Warlick is investigating a report of a domestic incident on South Road and assisted with a juvenile problem at the police department.
March 16
Sgt. Warlick assisted with a structure fire on Back Meadow Road; is conducting a drug investigation on Back Meadow Road; and investigated suspicious activity on Main Street.
Chief Young warned Brittany Wallace of Jefferson for an obstructed license plate on Main Street by Chief Young.
Officer Dotson summonsed Hannah Cash of Boothbay for allowing a minor to possess or consume alcohol.
March 17
Chief Young assisted another agency at the police department.
Officer Sylvester investigated a report of criminal mischief on Nissan Farm Lane and investigated an alarm on Main Street
Officer Dotson assisted a citizen on Oak Road; took a report of found property at the police department; and arrested James Bowers of Damariscotta for violation of a protection order.
March 18
Sgt. Warlick warned Douglas DeMellier of Waldoboro for speeding on Bristol Road; warned Amy Watson of Lincolnville for speeding on Bristol Road; and warned Dalton Waltz of Damariscotta for a seat belt violation on Main Street
Officer Sylvester investigated a report of suspicious activity on Vine Street.
March 19
Officer Halpin assisted with a parking problem on Main Street; is investigating a report of theft on Coastal Market Drive; summonsed Hannah Corscaden of Damariscotta for false attachment of plates, expired inspection and failing to provide proof of insurance; and summonsed Travis Morton of Damariscotta for allowing false attachment of plates.
Officer Dotson is investigating a report of theft on Main Street and took a police information report on Standpipe Road.
March 20
Officer Halpin is investigating a report of theft on Elm Street.
Officer Sylvester and Officer Halpin took a police information report on Ellinwood Drive.
Officer Sylvester assisted another agency on Miles Street and assisted with an unruly subject on Miles Street.
