Damariscotta names first ‘Officer of the Year’

At the Damariscotta Board of Selectmen’s meeting April 20, Damariscotta Chief of Police Ron Young named Sergeant Jason Warlick to be the town’s first Officer of the Year.
Warlick received a certificate and an engraved coffee mug, as well as the accolades of his peers and the selectmen. Young said that it is his intention to create an engraved plaque that would honor Warlick and future Officers of the Year, which would be hung in Town Hall.
