Congratulations to our local high school graduates and to their parents. One of life's major milestones has been reached and it's not always easy to accomplish. By working hard, and mixing in some fun along the way, the class of 2017 is now taking on new endeavors. The door to many new opportunities is ready to be opened.

Remember graduates ... learning never stops and the more you know most times leads to greater things in life — things like peace of mind, learning to love yourself and others, and making a decent living.

Parents, you've done the best you can up to this point. Let your child grow some wings but continue to guide them as they make their way in the world.
