Closed court cases Nov. 1-11
These are the closed cases reported by the County Clerk for the period between Nov. 1 and Nov. 11. Unless otherwise noted, all sentences will be served at Two Bridges Regional Jail.
Michael L. Benner, 61, of Union, guilty of Burglary, and sentenced to the Department of Corrections for 10 years, all but three suspended, and probation of three years.
Sophia M. Swain Stark, 24, of Boothbay Harbor, guilty of a probation violation, received a suspended sentence and given two years probation and restitution of $2,500.
Jane Young, 26, of Cushing, guilty of Failure to Report, and sentenced to five days in jail.
Jonathan Mead, 34 of South Portland, guilty of OUI (alcohol) and sentenced to 30 days in jail, license suspended for 150 days, and a $500 fine. Also guilty of Violating Conditions of Release, and sentenced to 72 hours in jail.
Jonathan Bennett, 34, of Waldoboro, guilty of Operating While License Suspended or Revoked, fined $250.
George Faux, 55, of Newcastle, fined $150 for Violation of Shellstock Harvesting Rules.
Michael Jaffe, 71, of Beverly Hills, California, fined $100 for Operating without Permit/ID or Validation Displayed.
