Posture workshop at CLC YMCA
Chiropractor Dr. Brady Fergola will be offering a workshop at Central Lincoln County (CLC) YMCA at 9 a.m. on both Oct. 21 and Nov. 4 called “Our Posture Says it All.” Workshop will include a 30-minute lecture and 30 minutes of demonstration. This workshop is free to CLC YMCA members and $10 for nonmembers.
This is a postural series that will dive into the prolonged effects of posture on daily living, some common patterns we see, and some easy ways to start reversing the effects. Key points will include some simple tricks to start working toward bettering your back, common patterns seen in everyday populations, basic relevant anatomy involved, and simple exercises to start your journey of becoming a better version of yourself. Both workshop dates will include varying material, so participants are encouraged to attend both.
Dr. Brady is a Maine native who attended the University of Maine and obtained a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. He then went on to obtain his doctorate of chiropractic from Logan University. While at Logan, he attended many postgraduate courses on performance care and rehabilitation to complement his chiropractic studies and help better serve his patients. He believes in the ability to live pain free for a better quality of life while maximizing human performance and minimizing injury.
Advance registration is required for this workshop and can be done at clcymca.org or at the front desk of the CLC YMCA. For more information contact Casey Clark Kelley at 563-9622 or cclarkelley@clcymca.org
