Sandra Ann Thibault passed away on Aug. 22, 2022 at the Gregory Wing at St. Andrews Village, Boothbay Harbor after a long battle with a spinal cord injury and multiple health issues.

Sandra was born on Feb. 13, 1941 on Southport Island in her childhood home in Cozy Harbor to Leslie W. and Dorothy E. Brewer. 

After graduating in 1959 from Boothbay Region High School, Sandra went on to study cosmetology in Boston. 

In 1960 she married Ernest Edward Thibault. They went on to have three children. Betsy Karmen Thibault, and twin sons, Martin Edward Thibault and Matthew Shaun Thibault.

Sandra loved doing anything with family and friends.

She enjoyed camping, traveling, decorating her house, the beach, and most of all shopping. 

She was a member of the Southport Mothers Club, Southport Methodist Women’s Auxiliary and the Boothbay Region Community Band.

Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Dorothy and Leslie W. Brewer; her husband Eddie Thibault; her favorite nephew, Leslie W. Brewer II; and her brother Donald Brewer.

Sandra is survived by her brother Peter Brewer; daughter Betsy Thibault; sons Martin Thibault and Matthew Thibault; granddaughters Hannah Thibault and Molly Thibault; great-grandson Archer Jajliardo; namesake Arlene Sandra Brown Cole; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

At Sandra’s request there will be no funeral. A celebration of life will be next August at Hendricks Head Beach.
