LincolnHealth Miles’ Campus is the backdrop for Elaine Abel’s paintings through June 14.
Artist Elaine Abel finds beauty in every day objects and transforms mundane things into works of art. Working from her Waldoboro studio, Elaine is inspired by her immediate surroundings, which is very often, her house and specifically her kitchen.
After a long career in construction management, Elaine decided to put some of her creative energy to canvas. She notes that although the two seem different, she paints similarly to her approach to construction management ... with detail, discipline and lots of joy.
