Tai Chi for arthritis starts early January at CLC YMCA
Central Lincoln County YMCA will be offering two different levels of Tai Chi for their Winter I session.
Tai Chi is an exercise that can improve balance, relieve pain and improve health and ability to do things. It is a slow exercise and easy to learn for all ability levels. The essential principles of Tai Chi include mind and body integration, fluid movements, controlled breathing and mental concentration. Tai Chi for Arthritis I will run Jan. 6-Feb. 26, Mondays and Thursdays from 9:15-10:15 a.m. and is suitable for beginners. Tai Chi for Arthritis Part 2 will run Jan. 8-Feb. 28 on Wednesdays and Fridays from 1-2 p.m. and is ideal for those who have completed Tai Chi for Arthritis I and are looking for a more challenging course.
