Two Wiscasset women among dozen drug arrests
Twelve people including two from Wiscasset were arrested on drug-related charges in Augusta Tuesday following a several-month investigation into the sale of crack cocaine and heroin in Augusta and the midcoast area.
Maine Drug Enforcement Agents, along with law enforcement from the Augusta Police Department, Kennebec County Sheriff’s Department and State Police searched five different locations in the city Tuesday morning after search warrants had been issued. The investigation focused on the alleged sale of heroin and crack by out-of-state drug traffickers using various Augusta locations. The investigation included the undercover purchase of heroin.
Searched were 42 Mt. Vernon Avenue, Apt. A; 38 Water Street, Apt. 5; 9 Bond Street, Apt. 1; and two rooms inside an Augusta motel, which is not being named. Seized were approximately 50 grams of crack cocaine, 12 grams of heroin, five handguns (one confirmed to be stolen) and approximately $4,000 in cash believed to be proceeds from drug sales. The street value of the drugs seized is estimated at $10,000.

Jordan Ascencio- 20, of Roxbury, Massachusetts. Charged with Class B conspiracy to traffic in Schedule W Drugs (Heroin/Crack).
Sergio Figueroa- 21, of Roxbury, Massachusetts. Charged with Class B conspiracy to traffic in Schedule W Drugs (Heroin/Crack).
Jose Lewis Figueroa- 24, of Roxbury, Massachusetts. Charged with Class B conspiracy to traffic in Schedule W Drugs (Heroin/Crack).
Kidante Roberts- 21, (male) of Boston, Massachusetts. Charged with Class B conspiracy to traffic in Schedule W Drugs (Heroin/Crack).
Emanuel Rocgue- 39, of Augusta. Charged with Class A Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs. This charge was aggravated due to the presence of a handgun
Dalene Black- 34, of Augusta. Charged with Class A Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs. This charge was aggravated due to the presence of a handgun.
Philip Theriault- 43, of Augusta. Charged with Class A Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs. This charge was aggravated because the alleged trafficking occurred within a designated “drug free safe zone.”
Jessie Clark- 34, of Augusta. Charged with Class A Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs. This charge was aggravated because the alleged trafficking occurred within a designated “drug free safe zone.”
Corey Collamore- 30, of China. Charged with Class A Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs. This charge was aggravated because the alleged trafficking occurred within a designated “drug free safe zone.”
Dixie Gauthier- 38, of Wiscasset. Charged with Class A Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs. This charge was aggravated because the alleged trafficking occurred within a designated “drug free safe zone.”
Lisa Gosselin- 41, of Wiscasset. Charged with Class A Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs. This charge was aggravated because the alleged trafficking occurred within a designated “drug free safe zone.”
Michael Gregg- 51, of Augusta. Charged with Class C possession of Schedule W Drugs.
All were transported to the Kennebec County Jail. The investigation is continuing.
