Central Lincoln County (CLC) YMCA recently upgraded its cycling studio with the addition of 15 leased Life Fitness IC6 Indoor Cycling Bikes. IC6 bikes feature a full color display computer and a Coach By Color® system, which is an intensity guide displayed in colored zones.

To help community members learn more about the bikes, get acquainted with them, and to simply allow anyone to try them out, CLC YMCA is offering seven 30-minute workshops in February. The workshops will be led by certified IC6 instructors and will help users set proper bike adjustments; navigate and use the computer monitor, familiarize themselves with the general use of the bikes and the Coach by Color feature, as well as ask any questions they have.

The workshops are appropriate for all levels of fitness and are open to both members and nonmembers. Dates for the workshops are: Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 9:15 a.m.; Friday, Feb. 14 at 9:30 a.m.; Saturday, Feb. 15 at noon; Sunday, Feb. 16 at 10:30 a.m.; Thursday, Feb. 20, 6 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 22 at 9 a.m.; and Thursday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m.
