MaineHealth seeks feedback on diabetes
The MaineHealth Diabetes Program wants to meet people with Type 2 diabetes to learn how to improve the way people are taught to manage this disease.
On Thursday, Sept. 12 from 3:30 to 5 p.m., MaineHealth is inviting people with Type 2 diabetes to participate in a group discussion at LincolnHealth’s Watson Health Center on the Miles campus.
Those who attend will receive a $50 gift card and enjoy light refreshments.
“It’s important that our patients are receiving the information they need in a way that makes learning easy,’’ said Patricia Brewer, diabetes program coordinator at LincolnHealth. “MaineHealth is constantly looking at ways to improve what we teach and how we teach it, and what better way to learn than talking directly with people who are currently managing Type 2 diabetes.”
The group size is limited, so those who are interested should sign up now. You can do so at MFFocusGroups@CourseStorm.com or call 207-781-1732 for more information.
