Public invited to celebrate 20th anniversary at Chase Point
In 1999, you could buy a gallon of gas for $1.22, a couple of movie tickets for $8 and put 200 gallons of heating oil in your tank for around $130.
While many things have changed since then, the commitment to seniors who need care at Chase Point Assisted Living and Riverside Memory Care has not waivered. The team at Chase Point and Riverside invites the public to an open house and celebration of its 20-year anniversary milestone on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 1 to 5 p.m. at its facilities on LincolnHealth’s Miles campus in Damariscotta.
At 1:30 p.m., Russie Lane will present a short film, Looking for a Hero while at 3:30 p.m., music will be provided by Castlebay. Blood pressure checks, tours, snacks and information about assisted living and memory care will also be available.
“We appreciate that so many people from Lincoln County have chosen Chase Point over the years,’’ said Wanda Wilcox, Executive Director. “We hope that some former residents and family members stop by to say hello. They may even find some familiar faces of team members who have been with us for all 20 years.”
Over the course of two decades, Chase Point Assisted Living and Riverside Memory Care has provided over nearly 290,000 days of care to its residents.
