Keto Diet to be discussed at support group
LincolnHealth Dietitian Joan Atkinson, MS, RD, LD will present “Diabetes and the Keto Diet” at the next Diabetes Support Group on Thursday, March 26 at 1:15 p.m. in the Diabetes Education Room on the third floor of the hospital on the Miles campus. The event is open to the public and there is no cost to attend.
Atkinson will explain the Ketogenic, or “Keto diet,” which is popular with those trying to lose weight, with respect to losing weight and managing diabetes.
