The Skidompha Secondhand Book Shop in downtown Damariscotta has several hundred DVDS on sale for $1 each or 6 for $5, from now through Tuesday, Oct. 10.

Besides popular and classic movies, they include documentaries, foreign films, TV series, opera, fitness programs, and study courses. DVDs are normally priced at $2.50.

The book shop is a major source of funding for the collections and programs of Skidompha Public Library. All items are donated and all staff members are volunteers.

It is open every day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and donations are accepted during those hours.
