Tracey Whitney has impressive track record
Dear Editor:
We wholeheartedly support Tracey Whitney’s candidacy for Wiscasset School Board. She possesses all the important qualities to do an outstanding job as board member.
Tracey comes to this election with a very impressive track record of accomplishments. She has worked as teacher in Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut. She was the director of the Early Ed.
Dept. in Vermont as well.
After retiring and moving to Wiscasset, she became a member of the school board for her former school. She completed a 3-year term.
In the time we have now known Tracey, we have found she is a very valuable asset to our community. She is brilliant at organizing, planning, and getting things done.
She cares deeply about the people of Wiscasset especially the children. Here in Wiscasset she selflessly runs a children’s Christmas market for the Friends of the Public Library, runs Storytime for the Library Sept-May, does library outreach for the Summer Rec program in July, one of the founding members of Wormfest, Rear Commodore for the Wiscasset Yacht Club, president and fundraising committee for the Friends of the Library. She also is involved with a costume exchange for the kids each year.
Tracy is smart, level headed, kind , and committed to this community. She genuinely cares about the children and families in our district. She has profound personal integrity and has the ability to build bridges across a diverse community.
Please vote for Tracey Whitney at the polls on June 11.
Michelle and Sky Wentworth
