Maine’s own “American Idol,” singer Julia Gagnon, will bring a special “Home for the Holidays” concert to the Strand Theatre stage on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 7:30 p.m. Julia will be joined by her fiancé and musical partner Nate Haven, along with a six-piece backing band, to sing holiday favorites along with the popular songs that launched her star turn on the hit TV show.
Originally from Cumberland, and currently a student at the University of Southern Maine, Gagnon’s singing journey started at a school talent show. She gained national acclaim for her soulful, powerful voice after placing in the top seven performers of the 22nd season of “American Idol.” During her time with “American Idol,” Gagnon became a household name across the state with Mainers rallying to support her by voting for her each week and hosting watch parties.
Concert series sponsorship support has been generously provided by First National Bank and First National Wealth Management.
Tickets are $28/advance, $30/day of show. Beer and wine are available at concessions. To buy tickets, or for more information, visit www.rocklandstrand.com or call (207) 594-0070. The Strand Theatre is located at 345 Main St., Rockland.
