Closed criminal court cases, April 16-May 1
The following are closed criminal cases from April 16 to May 1. All information was provided by the Lincoln County Clerk of Courts. All sentences, unless otherwise noted, will take place at Two Bridges Regional Jail.
Leon E. Busby, Jr., 38, of Walpole, probation violation for Aggravated Criminal Mischief, sentenced to jail for 20 days.
Tina Chapman, 43, of Warren, guilty of Domestic Violence Terrorizing, sentenced to 364 days in the Department of Corrections, all suspended, with probation of one year; and deferred disposition for Domestic Violence Criminal Threatening.
Jason Brewster, 34, of Unity, probation violation for Violating Conditions of Release, no sentence imposed.
Dustin Bibber, 28, of Boothbay, probation violation for Burglary, sentenced to two days in jail.
Casey Hanna, 32, of New Harbor, guilty of Unlawful Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs, sentenced to three days in jail and probation continued.
Sophia Swain Stark, 24, of Boothbay Harbor, probation violation for Burglary; sentenced to five months in jail and probation continued; and Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer, sentenced to five months in jail and probation continued.
William Morton, 28, of Boothbay, guilty of Domestic Violence Assault, sentenced to 364 days in jail, all but seven days suspended, and probation of one year.
Franz Morris, 53, of Waldoboro, guilty of Unlawful Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs, sentenced to five years in the Department of Corrections, all but 12 months suspended; probation of two years; and fined $400.
Joao Gomes, 40, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, guilty of OUI (alcohol), sentenced to jail for 48 hours, license suspended 150 days, and $500 fine; and Operating a Vehicle Without a License, sentenced to jail for 48 hours.
Justin Oxley, 28, of Vassalboro, guilty of Disorderly Conduct, Fighting. Sentenced to Knox County Jail for 21 days; also guilty of Refusing to Submit to Arrest or Detention by Physical Force, sentenced to Knox County Jail for 21 days; and Obstructing Government Administration, sentenced to Knox County Jail for 21 days.
Sean McDermott, 32, of Boothbay, guilty of OUI (alcohol) with two priors; sentenced to three years in jail, all but 60 days suspended, probation of two years, fined $1,100, license suspended for six years, and registration suspended; deferred disposition for Refusing to Submit to Arrest or Detention by Physical Force.
Cainin Griffin, 57, of Wiscasset, guilty of OUI (alcohol), sentenced to 72 hours in jail, fined $500, and license suspended for 150 days. In a separate case, deferred disposition for Violating Conditions of Release and Domestic Violence Terrorizing.
Thomas Thornton III, 31, of Whitefield, guilty of OUI (alcohol), sentenced to 20 hours community service, fined $500, and license suspended for 150 days.
Michael Dunning Jr., 26, of Wiscasset, guilty of Operating While License Suspended or Revoked with one prior, fined $500.
James Farrar, 46, of Bremen, guilty of Fishing for or Taking Shellfish from Closed Area, fined $300.
Justin Malkoch, 22, of Bowdoinham, guilty of Violating Protection from Abuse Order, sentenced to 14 days in jail; also guilty of Violating Conditions of Release, sentenced to 14 days in jail; also guilty of Criminal Mischief, sentenced to 14 days in jail.
Samantha Perry, 24, of Waterville, guilty of Operating While License Suspended or Revoked with one prior, fined $500.
Stephen Benner, 30, of Rockland, guilty of Violation of Protection from Abuse Order, sentenced to 20 days in jail.
Brian Emmons, 40, of Wiscasset, guilty of Violating Conditions of Release, sentenced to seven days in jail.
Benjamin Dauphin, 29, of Wiscasset, guilty of Failure to Register Vehicle, fined $100.
Tyler Giles, 18, of Bristol, guilty of Operating a Vehicle Without a License; fined $200.
Johnathan Souza, 23, of Newcastle, guilty of Operating While License Suspended or Revoked, with one prior, fined $500.
Ashley Souza, 26, of Newcastle, guilty of Attaching False Plates, fined $300.
Nicholas Reilly, 20, of Topsham, guilty of Assault, sentenced to 15 days in jail.
Christopher McFarland, 26, of Nobleboro, guilty of OUI (alcohol) with one prior, sentenced to 364 days in jail, all but seven suspended, probation of one year, license suspended for three years, registration suspended.
John Hutchins, 50, of Boothbay Harbor, guilty of OUI (alcohol), fined $800, license suspended for 150 days.
